Melodic Musings: Harmonies and Lyrics

Songwriting has always has a special place in my heart ever since I was a a young girl. In my early teens, I remember trying to teach myself some cords on my mother’s mini keyboard in order to bring a melody to my words. I wrote my first song at age 15 or so, and I have been going on and off ever since. I have since written a number of songs, mostly as a form of worship during my years as an evangelical Christian. Though those days are over for me now, I still reflect upon the profound impact that God and faith have had on my life and how they’ve shaped me into who I am today. Regardless of where I’m at on my journey now, those elements will always be a part of my story. My hope is to continue bringing my thoughts alive from paper to melodic rhythms that soothe my soul and perhaps yours as well. I look forward to how this all will unfold…
